With in-house CATIA modeling Costa Precision has the capability to provide 3D design services as well as complex 3 to 5 axis programming. This system is capable of receiving files in 3.5" floppies, 2.3GB 8MM tapes and also file transfer by modem. The files can be received in the DOS, TAR or IGES formats. The system uses version 4.1 CATIA and includes advanced surface design, advanced solids, 3D wireframe, 2D drafting, 3 & 5 axis programming and IGES modules.
